Every person has the right to practice aikido free of sexual harassment and abuse.
The Wolf Moon Dojo prohibits all forms of sexual misconduct, including but not limited to, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, stalking, or domestic violence, and sexual harassment.
Physical contact between instructors and students who are training must be appropriate to the situation and necessary for the skill development of those students.
“Sexual Harassment” is defined as unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors, and other verbal and physical conduct of a sexual nature when:
- Submission to such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an individual’s advancement.
- Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for decisions affecting such individual; or
- Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s practice by creating an intimidating hostile or sexually offensive training environment.
Sexual harassment will not be tolerated, and any activity found to not only be unaligned with this policy but also noncompliant with local, state and federal laws will be reported to the local authorities.
